Teal is a 17-year U.S. Air Force veteran, proudly serving in operations like Desert Storm, Desert Shield, Provide Comfort, and Operation Decisive Edge. Later, he became a combat medic and flew Apache helicopters into remote Honduran villages, delivering medical aid and infant immunizations during humanitarian missions.

After retiring from the military, Teal became a contractor for Lowe’s in 2015, managing projects across 15 Lowe’s stores and leading multiple crews over 13 years. He was the first contractor in the Central U.S. to launch Lowe’s Kitchen & Bath Remodel Program. He installed everything they sold — including fences, decks, and full remodels — and was often called in to fix other contractors' mistakes.

In 2021, Teal suffered a serious head injury that left him incapacitated. After a long recovery and losing his Lowe’s contract, he launched Get Your Fence On LLC, driven by a vision to deliver a better product, better process, and better results.

We’ve developed an installation method that avoids the biggest customer complaints — like torn-up yards, leftover debris, and uneven posts. Instead of using concrete and digging up sod, we install using lifetime steel posts and post stabilizers that are clean, strong, and mess-free.

Unlike big-box stores that push only their own materials, we source from Lowe’s, Home Depot, Menards, Sutherlands, and other trusted suppliers — choosing the best quality at the best price for each job.
