WHY WE ARE HERE
Independence is one of the older parts of the metro and it shows in the yards - established lots, big canopy trees, and a lot of fence that went in decades ago and has earned its retirement.
Jackson County, population about 123,000.
Old trees mean roots, and roots mean a post line that has to be planned rather than paced off. We hand-dig where we have to. Cutting a structural root to save twenty minutes is how you kill a tree three summers later.
Tear-out and haul-off is most of the job on a replacement, and it is the part people forget to ask about. Demolition, disposal and the evening cleanup are in our number before you sign, not added after the old panels are on the ground.
Replacement drives Independence, so the style question is usually whether to match what is coming down or finally change it. Plenty of people match - cedar privacy, same height, cleaner posts. Plenty do not, and go to vinyl so they never stain anything again. Both are right; we will price them side by side rather than steering you.
Old neighbourhoods mean old utilities and big trees, so Independence jobs get more hand-digging than most. We locate first, read the flags on site, and route the post line around what is actually down there. Haul-off is the other half of the day, and it is in the number before you sign rather than added once the old panels are stacked.
