WHY WE ARE HERE
Ashland sits right between our two biggest markets, which means we are through town constantly. It has been one of the fastest growing spots in Boone County and a lot of our work here is first fence on a new build.

New subdivisions mean disturbed fill, and fill settles. We set below the disturbed layer rather than in it - a post bedded in builder's backfill is a post that moves.
On a new build the fence is often the last thing to go in and the first thing the neighbours see. We keep the line straight off the property pins and leave the yard clean, because in a new neighbourhood the next three jobs come from the street.
Almost everything here is a first fence, so the conversation starts further back than usual - not which cedar, but whether you want to see through it. Most Ashland yards end up privacy across the back and something lower along the sides, so the yard feels closed without feeling like a box. Vinyl does well here too, on the newer streets where nobody wants to stain anything.
