Fulton, MO — Westminster College, William Woods and the historic downtown square.
WHY WE ARE HERE
Fulton is an easy run east for us and a straightforward town to fence. Lots are generous by city standards, the streets are flat to gently rolling, and access is rarely the fight it can be in a tighter market.
Callaway County, population about 12,000.
Callaway County ground is workable most of the year. Posts still go 30 to 36 inches down and below the frost line, because a shallow post is how a fence leans in its third winter no matter how good the panels are.
A lot of Fulton work is replacement - an old chain-link or a wood fence that has done its twenty years. We will tell you plainly whether yours has another season in it, even though that answer does not sell a job today.
Fulton buys practical. Cedar privacy around the back, four foot chain-link or ornamental along the front where the yards are open, and a lot of gates wide enough for a mower and a trailer. The college blocks want something that looks settled rather than new, which usually means a simpler cap and a stain that is not trying to be a feature.
Generous lots mean we can usually work from inside the yard instead of off the street, which keeps the job quieter and the driveway clear. It also means longer runs, and long runs are where a line either stays true or does not. We string it, we sight it, and we check it again before the panels go on.
